In the 1980’s, the “Westy” was the most sought after VW campervan on the market. The reason? Westfalia were the only conversion company officially licenced by VW to build campervans from VW platforms - giving them serious cache and a huge lead in the market. Their hard-won recognition was built on incredible build quality, leading design and all-around functionality, which holds strong even 30 plus years down the line. These are the only VW T25s to own and are not only holding their value but increasing year on year.

So, why pick a Westy? Well, because that’s who VW picked!

All our hires include breakdown cover and fully comprehensive self-drive hire insurance for two drivers, provided they are between 24 and 75 years of age and meet our terms and conditions.

In addition to the above, our vans come with:

  • Full crockery and cutlery
  • Fold up camping chairs and table
  • BBQ, coals and lighters
  • Everything you need, basically ...

If you’re heading overseas, however, you will also need an EU green card to extend the insurance, these are £60 per week or part thereof - the exact amount our insurer charges us.

ABOUT OUR OLDER CAMPERVANS

T25s are generally reliable and lots of fun most of the time, but for those customers who want refinement and need cast iron dependability, particularly if covering larger distances, we’d suggest opting for one of our well-equipped VW T5 range [LINK].
