About our vans:

Premium

We currently have three very nice VW T25 westfalia vans for hire:

  1. "Bob", a 1989 Vw westy california (Red one)
  2. "Vic II", a 1986 westy club joker (White one)
  3. "Brian" a 1981 VW westy joker automatic (Brown one)


For those not acquainted with these vans, these are the highest spec and most sought after T25 variant - and the only VW approved conversion. They offer a great balance between classic looks and modern practicality - much cooler and more fun than more modern vans, but with all the same (usually more) refinements!

Standard features:
• 2 hob gas stove
• 3 way fridge (runs of gas, battery or mains hookup)
• sink and running water
• electric hookup with interior plug socket (charge your phone/watch the laptop!)
• 2 double beds (one rock and roll double bed downstairs, another full width double in the expanding roof)
• super comfy captains seats with armrests which turn round to face the back seats
• "poptop" roof so you can stand up inside at night, but drive with ease in the day
• standing heating to keep you warm at night (no need to run engine!)
• masses of storage
• movable table top
• all round curtains
...etc etc.

In addition to the above, our vans also feature:
• upmarket remote control CD/MP3 sound systems (with Ipod input)
• Tom Tom EU satellite navigation sets
• full crockery and cutlery
• fold up camping chairs
• BBQ, coals and lighters

• 3 window roof canvases for extra ventilation and views (Bob and Vic)
• lockable safes (Bob and Vic)

Vic and Bob are diesels, making them very economical - they do about 500 kms per tank - but they also do motorway speeds so you'll get there comfortably, quickly and cheaply!

 

 

Brian is petrol, but still gets you good miles to the gallon with the advantage of not having to change gears - plus makes that aircooled VW sound all the enthuiasts lust for!)!

 

Budget

We also have a more basic option for those travelling on a tight budget. It's a VW t3 multivan named Rodney - similar to the other ones but single berth and more basic kitchen equipment.

His equipment is:

  • full width double bed
  • CD/MP3/USB stereo
  • front "captains seats" (with armrests)
  • 240v electric hook-up (charge your laptop etc)
  • 12v/240v coolbox
  • gas powered burner (2 ring)
  • gas night heater (no need to run engine to warm up)
  • sink and water container
  • basic cutlery/crockery
  • storage space
  • "buddy" seat behind driver (so you can sit at table to eat)
  • fold out breakfast table
  • sunroof
  • all round curtains
  • camping chairs
  • camping table
  • BBQ

For a small additional charge we can also provide a variety of accessories:

  • drive-away awnings - £20-30 depending on which one

  • inflatable lilo - £10
  • chemical toilets - £15 (Toliet must be returned empty or fine applies)

Terms

Terms are that you must be 25 or over with a full UK/EU license held for more than a year and no convictions. (If you don't meet these we may still be able to help but will need to refer to the insurer first).

Location

We are located in Streatham Hill, South London and Sevenoaks, Kent, but will also deliver within 3 miles (and further afield for an agreed charge).
